Jesus Said: Behold I Stand at the Door and Knock

Lets look at the sequence of events in Revelation Chapters 3 & 4.

Revelation 3:20-22

Revelation 3:20-22 (KJV)(Verse 20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Immediately following the 3rd Chapter of Revelation is a sequence of events in the 4th Chapter of Revelation. Rev. 4:1 shows John who is caught up in the spirit Saying: "the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither" It is interesting because a similar event happened in:
(I Thessalonians 4:13).

Revelation 4:1-2

Revelation 4:1-2 (KJV) (Verse 1) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Question: Could this verse be a symbol of the rapture of the church? Could (Revelation 4:1) be a similar comparrison of (I Thessalonians 4:13-17)..?

I Thessalonians 4:13-17

I Thessalonians 4:13-17 (KJV)(Verse 13) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Read all of Chapter 3 & 4 Together and you will see the complete picture of what John saw. (Is John seeing The Rapure of the Church in Revelation Chapter 4?) What a glorious time for the Saints of God.
